The legacy of a land

My name is Delphine. My story is inseparable from this land of Camargue, this country of salt, wind, and freedom where I was born. Descended from an Arlesian lineage, granddaughter of farmers and wife of a rice and wheat farmer in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, my roots are deeply embedded in this unique landscape, between sea and marsh.

It is here, amidst the pink flamingos, horses, and bulls, that my perspective was forged. From my mother, a secretary, I inherited a rigor and strength that accompany me every day. This identity, rooted in the local soil, is the very essence of everything I undertake.

The hand serving creation

For three decades, my daily life was punctuated by awakening children as an ATSEM (Territorial Agent Specialized in Nursery Schools). Thirty years spent cultivating creativity, exploring shapes and colors. Passionate about craftsmanship and decoration, I have always felt this visceral need to transform imagination into tangible reality. For me, beauty is not just to be observed: it is shaped, it is lived.

A life force, a legacy

My greatest pride remains my two sons, now 25 and 30 years old, whom I had the honor of raising alone. This path, walked with determination, has led them to horizons that I am the first to admire: one is a police officer in Paris, the other is an engineer at the CNRS and a doctoral researcher.

Today, this lineage is illuminated by a new presence: my two-year-old granddaughter Aria, who represents the future and gentleness. Their journeys, filled with courage and excellence, are the pillars of my life and proof that perseverance allows one to reach all heights.

DELPHINUS: A rebirth

Life sometimes brings trials that impose silence. Faced with illness and disability, I had to relearn how to inhabit time. Where darkness threatened, I chose the light of creation.

DELPHINUS was born of this resilience. More than just a ready-to-wear brand, it is a manifesto of life. It is my way of existing, of staying strong, and of sharing my sensitivity. Each selected piece is a testament to this unwavering will to create meaning despite the storms.

To bear the name DELPHINUS is to bear my first name, my soul, and the history of my family. My dream is to see this house endure through time, so that one day, my children and my granddaughter will continue to bring this story to life. I wish that in twenty or fifty years, this brand will still carry the echo of this land that built me and of this family love that I entrust to you today.
